Deep almost opaque purple colour. Clear, bright and inviting. Clean nose with strong berried character and a good combination of vanilla and banana. Good complexity from the spice and ripe fruit. Full bodied and serious wine. Very good vibrant primary flavours. The spice berries and banana follow well from the nose to the palate. Fine tightly knit structure, powerful and yet elegant, long lingering finish.

Brilliant mid to deep ruby, the rim paling and showing a garnet tinge. A Cabernet that shows all the textbook ripe-berry qualities: blackberry bramble fruit characters are fleshed out with mulberry, but elegant restraint is present with tapered mineral tones. The oak is scented rather than sweet, showing cedar and sandalwood, and although still immature, aromas suggest pencil lead and tobacco leaf. The palate is packed with cassis fruit, mineral flintiness and top-quality wood.
